About Nutrition Advocates

Nutrition advice that survives Brooklyn.

We are a Brooklyn nutrition practice built on one idea: a plan only works if it fits the food, the budget, and the kitchen someone already has. Our registered dietitians start with analysis, not assumptions.

Our mission

Make good nutrition the easy option.

Nutrition Advocates LLC exists so that a diagnosis does not have to come with a diet sheet nobody can follow. We analyze what people actually eat, explain what the numbers mean, and then close the gap with counseling, tailored meals, and groceries. For eligible Medicaid members, all of it is free.

Our values

What we stand for

Evidence first

Every plan starts from a measured analysis and current clinical guidelines, not a trend.

Culturally fluent

Halal, kosher, Chinese, South Asian, Caribbean, and Latin cooking, adjusted rather than replaced.

Plainly explained

No jargon, no shame. You get your numbers in writing and a person who explains them.

Actually reachable

A local Brooklyn office, a phone someone answers, and appointments in your language.

How it is covered

New York's Medicaid nutrition benefit

New York State's Medicaid 1115 waiver funds nutrition services for members whose health is affected by what they can access and afford to eat. Through Social Care Networks and participating plans, eligible members can receive nutrition counseling and education, medically tailored meals, home delivered meals or pantry stocking, and nutrition prescriptions, at no cost. Nutrition Advocates delivers those services on the ground in Brooklyn.

Coverage, service limits, and eligibility are set by the State and by each member's plan. We confirm yours during the free screening call before anything begins.
