Nutrition Analysis

Guesswork is not a diet plan.

We measure what you are really eating, show you the numbers, and turn them into a plan you can cook. Free for eligible members.

Why analysis first

"Most people are not eating badly on purpose. They have never been shown the numbers."

FAQ

Questions, answered

What does a nutrition analysis actually cost me? +
Nothing, if you are eligible. For Medicaid members who qualify under New York's 1115 waiver nutrition benefit, the analysis, the dietitian visits, and any meals or groceries that follow are covered. We confirm your coverage during screening before anything starts.
Do I need a doctor's referral? +
No. You can request an analysis yourself. If your doctor does send a referral, we return the dietitian's assessment summary to them so your care stays connected.
What do I need to bring or prepare? +
Just a rough sense of what you ate over the last three days, any recent lab results if you have them, and a list of your medications. If you do not have labs, we work with what you have.
How long does it take, and how soon do I get results? +
The assessment runs about 45 minutes. Most members get their written report and a review appointment within one week.
Will the plan work with how my family actually eats? +
That is the point. Our dietitians build plans around halal, kosher, Chinese, South Asian, Caribbean, and Latin cooking. We adjust your recipes rather than replacing them.
Can a caregiver or family member set this up? +
Yes. A caregiver, family member, or provider can start the request on behalf of an eligible member with their consent, and can sit in on the review appointment.
